"The role of a healthy alumni association is indispensable for the growth of any university. The alumni association of the Engineering Faculty was launched with the graduation of the first batch of students in 2017. The Jaffna Engineering Faculty Alumni Association acronymed as JEFAA has grown tremendously till then and currently runs thrivingly with active members who never stand back to support the faculty. The association strives to build a well engaged, supportive alumni network through organizing events within alumni and in collaboration with the faculty."
The Jaffna Engineering Faculty Alumni Association (JEFAA) was formed by the end of 2017 with the graduation of the E/13 batch of students from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna.
We are acting as liaison between the alumni and the faculty and support students by organizing mentoring programs, talks and social events for networking. Currently having members from the first three batches from the faculty and the support from a number of well-wishers from within and outside of the country we are committed to contribute to the growth of the faculty. As graduates we aim to be the most loyal supporters and the best ambassadors to our alma mater.
